Store-Logger
Wireless system for controlling storage conditions
The STORE-LOGGER system is intended for monitoring microclimate (temperature, relative humidity of the air, opening the door) in rooms where products sensitive to climatic conditions are stored. It is indispensable wherever applied ISO and GMP quality systems require professional documenting of cold supply chain and storage of temperature-sensitive products, so-called “Cold chain”.
The monitoring system consists of: microclimate parameters sensors from LAB-EL, monitoring device (tablet or mobile phone) with Android 5.0 system (or newer) with STORE-LOGGER application, WiFi access point (only for WiFi sensors). In addition, data from STORE-LOGGER systems can be archived in an external server with a central database, which is a computer with Windows 7 (or newer) with the SCADA LBX program installed. The LBX program can run a collective archive of data simultaneously for many STORE-LOGGER systems.
The main advantage of the system is simple and fast installation, which results from battery power supply and wireless communication between the sensors and display devices (monitoring device of the system).
Sensors of microclimate parameters
In the STORE-LOGGER system, sensors with WiFi or Bluetooth BLE interfaces can be used, while only one type of sensors can be used in one STORE-LOGGER system.
Temperature and humidity sensors with WiFi interface are specialized LAB-EL recorders that allow you to control: temperature (LB-523TD, LB-533T) or temperature and relative humidity (LB-523).
Alternatively, the system can use temperature and relative humidity sensors with a BLE interface (LB-518, working directly with phones and tablets with Bluetooth 4.0 interface or newer).
All temperature and humidity sensors used in the STORE-LOGGER system have battery power supply, which in normal operation lasts about a year of operation. In addition, the LB-533T sensors have an external power supply connector that allows you to monitor the presence of the power supply, which, for example, signals the power outages of refrigerators with vaccines in hospitals, outpatient clinics or pharmacies.
All temperature and humidity sensors used in the STORE-LOGGER system are not only thermometers or hygrometers, but are also recorders of measured microclimate parameters. Each of them is equipped with a large memory allowing to store about 30,000 individual measurement results. The data is saved in “overwrite” memory, which means that when the memory is full, the oldest entries are deleted.
Temperature and relative humidity measurements are carried out with a resolution of 0.1°C and 0.1 %RH. Additional technical parameters of LAB-EL thermometers and hygrometers used in the STORE-LOGGER system are discussed in their detailed leaflets.
Thermometers and hygrometers for microclimate measurement can, on request, have an individual calibration certificate issued by the Accredited Calibration Laboratory LAB-EL. Periodically, sensors can be re-calibrated in the Laboratory to confirm their correct operation and error-free measurement.
WiFi access point
The STORE-LOGGER system uses a standard access point or router with a WiFi interface that mediates in communication between the WiFi microclimate sensors and the monitoring device. This allows the sensors to be incorporated into the company’s network infrastructure and to eliminate the problem of WiFi coverage.
Monitoring device
As a monitoring device, used to visualize and program parameters of the STORE-LOGGER system, a standard tablet or mobile phone with Android 5.0 (or newer) with the installed STORE-LOGGER application is used. Due to the continuous operation of the monitoring device, it is recommended to connect an external power supply to it.
The monitoring system displays the current system status, you can read the current measurement results from individual sensors and charts from the measurement history. The device signals exceeded alarm states: optically, by sound signal or by voice message, sent SMS messages or e-mails.
